almost no cars with a standard gear based transmission can reach 20 mph in reverse. if you find a car with a CVT transmission then you could go as fast in reverse as you can in drive

THIS! I have been thinking about this since this came about… There is no way an intoxicated person could drive THAT far THAT fast and NOT hit anything else like a car or mailbox or swerve up in someone’s yard!!!
