you know we never talked about ice when I was there in 66-67 but your right there was not ice in your drinks when we were out on the town , we drank Asbach with coke with no ice and you know I was back over there on vacation for 3 weeks with my Ex wife and daughter in 1984 and you had to ask for ice with drinks with coca-Cola. and they would bring it in a bowl and beer was not that cold not warm like people think it was never warm but it was not real cold as you get in the states . I remember family would there kids out on Sunday morning for family time and walk around and they gave there children beer with fanta I think that was it i know it was beer and fanta mix half and half I think. Thank you , you make me think back on my times over there 💯👍 💯 👍

do you have to pay a tax for a TV over there not sure if they had many TV's in the household in 1966 I know we had a TV but we never turned it on much most was in Germany and a few we got from England i think. we never watch TV that much We were only one building for 30 guys if that no arny vehicles we had to call for the Germans to get jeeps and drivers we were under NATO
