I also have Hashimotos. I have been gluten free for a year and cut all inflammatory foods 3 weeks ago. There are gluten free options for all kinds of stuff. I especially loved gf Oreos and chips ahoy. I will tell you that processed gf foods are almost worse for you. However, I did it for a year before I made the switch to an anti inflammatory diet. You really just have to make the decision and stick to it. No cheat days. And if you do accidentally have gluten after you haven’t for a long time, you will know! I was miserable. Worst stomach pains ever!! I have a bunch of recipes saved and tips/tricks. Let me know! I honestly get a bunch off TikTok and the Fig app is amazing!!

Honestly you just have to push through. It’s so hard but so worth it. You probably won’t like the taste of the GF stuff at first, but you’ll get use to it and it’ll be good eventually. I’m 4 years in and I have no issues with how it tastes anymore and it’s not hard because it just not worth the physical pain of eating gluten. Once you start feeling better. It’s so much easier to keep going

I’m with you girl! Hashimotos for almost 20 years and just was told I have celiac. I’m not a sweets girl, so for me it’s more about snacks and recipies to use.

You can get gluten free cookies. 😅 Sweet Loren’s is pretty good in my opinion. But they also have chips ahoy and Oreos gluten free now if those are your vibe.

I’m celiac so not hashimotos…but what made going gluten free a no brainer was how much better I felt when I didn’t touch gluten. It was life changing for me. It’s not easy at all…but for me it is so worth it!!
