Genuine question sis.. how do you get the hukti smell out of the abaya? Do you wash them like normal clothes or put in dry cleaners? Because I was thinking with normal clothes you could wash normally but your abaya has pretty gems and stuff 😭

Never again. I cooked it once, had my kitchen locked and window open, yet somehow it stunk up my whole apartment. I love shutki shira, but not making it. Now I just enjoy it when I go over to my family.

When u descale fermented fish you take the flavour and shutki smell away. Best to roughly rinse with water for the ultimate flavour
