@lukegrosch: The perfectionism of many neurodivergent people (ADHD, Autistic, AUDHDers), often results in seeing the self as a constant process of refinement. Open yourself up to considering which of your ‘flaws’ are actually integral to your humanness… consider which elements of yourself maybe do not need refinement. As an Audhd girlie I appreciate your videos so much. Living inside my own head is exhausting and I feel like I'm in a perpeptual loop of trying to understand myself and the world around me. You help it make sense so thank you 💛

I think what helped me a lot with this was instead of hyper focusing on my own flaws and imperfections, I started focusing on others' flaws (not in a judgemental way, but in an observational way). And when I say "flaws", I mean what my perception of "social norms" and "perfection" would look like to your average person. From an objective standpoint, I noticed and compared others' to mine. I feel that this A. boosted my confidence a little bit (when I notice others can't do something like me) and B. allowed me to look at my "flaws" from an objective, realistic standpoint. Making my insecurities more manageable, if that makes sense.

After being constantly being told I was saying and doing the wrong thing I think as I’ve got older I’ve become too self aware to the point any time I’m any situation I’m just over analysing it and I think it’s made my sense it justice even worse as the same people that criticise the bad things about me have so many floors In themselves but won’t hear it as it’s coming from me , I just wanna be able to live at my own pace and routine but just never been able to

So much this! Perfectionism looms so large in my life and I never feel good enough! My whole childhood was not being good enough or doing things the wrong way

it's the emotional dynamics from childhood stuck on positive feedback loops in the parasympathetic nervous system, these can be let go immediately in one coaching session now.
