This is so concerning I have young grandchildren who have had some vaccines, but they’re young enough to need more. I am so afraid the availability is just not going to be there.

Just found out my 2 yr old grandson is not holding antibodies to vaccines. He just had an adult version of a vaccine to see if that will work. He is now considered immunocompromised and will rely on other children to be vaccinated

I was flabbergasted at the inclusion of MMRV as a topic when I saw it on the agenda. The committee was also due to vote on HPV recommendations—possible moving to 1 dose schedule and clearing up the language to give at age 9. It’s missing from the agenda now… but maybe that’s a good thing.😬

When I started wearing contact lenses in the 80’s, all of my solutions contained thimerasol. You could SEE the mercury. Lol! Of course I didn’t know it as a kid, but for years I was putting it in my eyes in a daily basis!
