@allthings_womenshealth: ⏳ Waiting longer for treatment. ❌ Misdiagnosed. 🙄 Dismissed. If your blood clots are bigger than a golf ball — that’s not normal. 🤕 Passing out, 🤮 throwing up, 🛌 or being unable to get out of bed on your period? Also not normal. 💊 The pill and the coil aren’t a fix-all — they don’t work for everyone. Let me know your experiences below. You’re not alone — and you deserve better. We’re talking unfiltered convos, evidence-based hacks, and a whole lotta “wait, why did no one tell me this sooner?” moments. ⸻ #RealTalkForRealBodies #EndometriosisAwareness #PMDDSupport #ChronicIllnessCommunity #PeriodPainRelief #PelvicHealthMatters #WomensHealthMatters #HormoneHealth #CycleSyncing #MenstrualHealth #PelvicFloorPT #ChronicPelvicPain #AdenomyosisAwareness #PCOSSupport #MenopauseSupport #PerimenopauseJourney #OvulationAwareness #LutealPhaseLove #FollicularPhaseFeels #EndoWarrior #InvisibleIllnessSupport #MedicalGaslighting #PeriodSupport #AllThingsWomensHealth

Had colonoscopy, endoscopy etc for bowel bleed and everything came back fine.
Got put on waiting list for ‘exploratory lap’ in June 24 gynae is still saying it might not be the endometriosis or adenomyosis causing the symptoms though??? 😂🤣

So sorry you’re going through this. U sound just like my daughter who is going through exactly the same thing. It’s absolutely disgusting that this is happening! A doctor actually said to us he’s glad he’s a man as he sees this every day 😭

I ended up after having my children. Endometriosis after 3rd daughter. Pre cervical cancer cells. Having my line of my uterus/womb taken away. For me & my circumstances, age etc., best thing ever did! Please do not get fobbed off.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had endometriosis removed from my ovaries via urgent lap in 2020 as the lining of my womb wasn’t thinning despite insane bleeding, (they suspected cancer and wanted to do a biopsy) right up until surgery my gynae was saying this all might be a waste of time coz we might not find endo… 🙃 Had a coil fitted under the advice of my gynae, stopped the bleeding and lessened the pain. Felt validated as they did indeed find the endometriosis.

Take some one with you to write notes. times dates. So they know your being serious. Advise telling yiu that some women have pain as if tough luck is offensive and really steps over your boundaries. No it's not normal. Your body is trying to communicate with you. Get private full bloods and hormones. As evidence. x

Sounds like we've had a very similar experience. It all started at the age of 13, I'm now 39. The worst is when people say
"every woman has a period and they don't complain about it like this. You must just have a low pain tolerance." 🤦🏻♀️a lot more
comes with it than just the pain (at 28 l was diagnosed with Endometriosis with laparoscopy surgery). You're so very strong, love being sent to you 🤍
