@helens1990: April 2023 I noticed Arthur’s hearing was rubbish, went to the GP who referred him for a hearing test, May 2023 he had his first hearing test that showed mild hearing loss, caused by glue ear and a build up of ear wax. December he had moderate loss and was told he would benefit from a hearing aid, he was also referred to the ear care hospital for his ears suctioned. Feb 2024 he went to get his hearing aid and immediately as soon as it was put on his face changed, he noticed the lady stood behind him talking who he hadn’t even known was there because he couldn’t hear her! He walked out of the hospital saying ‘I love my hearing aid, I can hear you properly now mum!’ 🥹 he had 3 apps with the ear care who couldn’t clear his ears as the wax just builds back up. He has been seen by ENT and is waiting for grommets to hopefully fix the glue ear! Hopefully in the next few weeks 🤞 anyone else’s little ones been through the same?
