This is because saltwater is denser than freshwater due to the dissolved salts. When an egg is placed in saltwater, it experiences an upward buoyant force equal to the weight of the saltwater displaced by the egg. Since the egg is less dense than the saltwater, the buoyant force is greater than the weight of the egg, causing it to float Thank You 😌

This is DENSITY! Imagine two separate cups of ordinary water of the same volume, if eggs are dropped in them, they’ll sink. Universally, the molecules in water are not enough to lift an egg up due to low mass compared to its volume. Just imagine there are only 10 people in a room to lift a truck, but they can’t. Then you decide to include more people (which is now the salt) to one of the cups, meaning you have the initial 10 people in one cup and maybe 30people now in the second cup. There’s high tendency for the 30people to lift it up properly in which the 10 in the other would not be able to do. So far the salt is dissolved properly, each mole is bonded 1v1 to each salt molecule, increasing the density(upward force) pushing up the egg to float.
