After 33 years of living in Houston, I can’t understand why anybody would vacation in Houston. Sure it has a good food scene but certainly not enough variety of things to do

This is very specific to Black Houston. The people coming are Black tourists and going to Black spots in Houston. They are likely going to places in Houston you haven’t heard of. It’s odd to Black Houstonians because our space in this city was a best kept secret.

I just looked up that man and it all made sense. The black diaspora and cultural scene in Houston is huge. A lot of black ppl actually find Houston really fun bc of how open the black community is. There’s also a pretty big hiphop, party, and food scene which helps lol

My daughter lives in Germany and I recently went to see her. I sat with a German family that just vacationed in Houston for 2 weeks. They ABSOLUTELY loved it! I was shocked but enjoyed hearing about how much fun they had.
