@steven: This is the debate like we’ve never done before. Today on The Diary of a CEO, we wanted to step back from the noise and have a real conversation about a subject that touches everyone in some way. Feminism. We organised this conversation to discuss how the intimacy revolution changed the lives of  women, the direction of feminism and women’s rights in today’s society. And what better way to do that than by getting three leading voices on this topic in a room together: Deborah Frances-White, Louise Perry and Erica Komisar. Louise believes the sexual revolution failed women because it encouraged casual intimacy and p0rn, and that women should choose marriage and motherhood over their careers. Deborah believes the intimacy revolution gave women freedom and personal autonomy, and that women should have the choice to decide what they want when it comes to career, motherhood, and marriage. And Erica believes the revolution granted women freedom and autonomy, but in recent years has caused women to prioritise their careers over motherhood, which is harming children’s mental health. Three very different visions of what feminism should be so here we go! We discussed: - Why motherhood and caregiving deserve more cultural respect. - What casual intimacy is really doing to women… - How are men being shaped by a version of feminism they don’t understand? - The value of having real choice and how feminism helped create it. This is a very long conversation, but it's exactly what I was hoping it would be. I found my opinion shifting and changing throughout, so that's success for me. It’s not a straightforward conversation. You might not agree with everything that’s said but I guarantee it will challenge you and you’ll leave thinking differently. Women DO NOT WANT TO BE DEPENDENT ON MEN. The End. This is not hard to grasp. It doesn’t mean men are “losing” unless men are admitting that they need a house slave to survive

Feminism isn't the problem. society needs to change and evolve. MEN need to evolve and recognize that they need to be more than just providers. Society needs more Compassion and empathy. Taxes should go to our citizens & not war and corporate bailouts.

I worked for 25 years. Now I get to be a SAHM. I will take being a wife and mother over working for a company that doesn't care any day. Just my opinion. Nothing wrong with working hard and living your dream. 🥰

Women have to make money now. We have to be independent and understand that we can no longer rely on a stable man/ family dynamic.

My grandmother said to us as girls, “A man that feeds you can choose to starve you.“ Our grandmothers understood the risk of relying on a man but simply had few choices.

These women are talking nonsense.😂 It’s really important to educate people about what feminism actually is, because it seems like many have been misled. Wake up, people- feminism is not to blame for low birth rates or the male loneliness crisis. What’s really to blame is a mix of economic pressure, unrealistic societal expectations, emotional immaturity, and the lack of real connection in today’s fast-paced digital world.🙏

they purposely got women in the work force to break up the family and disguise it as feminism. A broken family is easier to control. Now women have to work to make ends meet because everything is so expensive and that’s EVEN if they have children and are still with the father. Which is another point, women are choosing not to have children or only one because everything is so expensive.

Why are people so shocked that women prioritize making money in capitalism? Wanting financial safety is just common sense. Problem is that some people expect women to happily except putting themselves in the dangerous position of being financial dependent.

alot of people missing the point. for the community, FAMILIES must be prioritized. not YOUR career. that's the point she's making. when majority of surveys are finding out that women and men are unhappier than back in the 50s/60s. even the 90s.

Short hair still lives in patriarchy. Women aren’t born to be just to be mothers and stay at home wives or be wives at all. They get to choose. They have free will. Feminism has nothing to do with her ignorant stance. Patriarchy does.

Notice it’s only white women telling the story of feminism for all women. Intersectional feminism exists. Not all women had the option to stay home and care for their children because they were caring for the children of others. It’s time to have a real conversation about women’s liberation v feminism.

It took them years to acknowledge the failure of feminism while men from the 80's and 90's have been sounding the alarm of feminism's corrosion and destruction towards women. Too bad, no matter how much facts or data, their gender will never change.

Here we go blaming feminism in daycare for all of the world‘s problems. Meanwhile, my daughter who went to preschool starting at six weeks is the most popular thriving girl in school. Her social skills are better than mine. I had to stay at home mom and no daycare.
