Always call the police and make a report. It will help with the lawsuit. Destruction of property is usually one thing their insurance company will not cover without a written contract. Don’t pay them a cent, it’s extortion.

This was in Canada, the home owner is NOT paying for it. And the company said they are going to take the asphalt off and restore it to the original driveway that it was.
