Texas was the main one who taught it and celebrated it, but we should teach about how the republicans had to forcibly free slaves because the democrats refused to give up their free labor because "Who would clean their toilets and pick their crops?"

Having a holiday for one group of people is not diversity, they need to release all holidays together. Tet, chinese new years, fall festival, cinco de mayo, national womans day, national mens day ect. We need all of it so i can take 365 days off a year.
