if it's a seasonal thing, there's a good chance he's dealing with some seasonal allergies, kind of like hayfever for dogs, when dogs imune systems are in "allergic reaction" one of the first signs of this will usually show up as ear infections and gunked up ears

My guy has been getting attacked by biting flies on his ears for the first time ever & for a while I was spritzing fly spray on the ground & letting him roll on it to help 😅 Thankfully, I found an ointment I can put on his ear tips themselves & he’s fine with that - just doesn’t like liquids around his ears. Have you tried any paste/ointment style that you can glob in there while petting?

Training monkeys is this x100. They’re so smart emotionally intelligent and intuitive, I cant even THINK about them sideways, they already know somethins up. Successive approximation is so hard when you have to slow things down but everything has to be on their time.
