Lowkey have to disagree with the weekends comment. As a single mom with absolutely no one in my corner, my son doesn’t deserve to sit in my salon all day Saturday and Sundays 🤠 different for everyone though as we all live in different circumstances 🫶🏼

Social media is SUCH a blessing. we used to have to basically pan handle for new clients back in the day. discounts, networking at events, giving out cards out to strangers etc

Firm believer in this, however when you fall into a toxic work environment it makes it really hard to want to be there and you know you’ll get everyone turned on you when you leave. It’s difficult to stay in love with a profession like that. 🤷🏼♀️

This!!!!! I told service providers all the time it is not essential for us to be off on the weekends that is for a client. Your clients are at work Monday through Friday and making money so that they can afford the hair appointment on Saturday and Sunday.

I do as much in person marketing as humanely possible and pray my clients post about their hair and social medias for me. My social is my portfolio. I hate trying to be an “influencer” with like “day in my life “ “my holy grail products” no pls.

Tbh I do really incredible work. I’m also not too pricey. Stylists that are charging 400 for a partial highlight and have only several clients a month and are stressing, remember supply and demand. You just got out of school, learn how to run your business something they don’t teach in school
