1) Too aggressive deficit (>500-700 kcal/day), which triggered catabolism (cleavage of muscles for energy), even with high protein.
2) Insufficient adaptation after the recruitment phase: the body is "shocked" by the transition, plus possible factors such as stress, lack of sleep or decreased training intensity.
3)Measurement error: scanning can take into account water/glycogen as "muscles", and losses are partially illusory. To minimize, reduce the deficit and add repid days. Hello from Ukraine)
