Not a retriever but I had a Chihuahua he was the runt of his litter and super little just like me I was born two months and two weeks early I was born with hydrocephalus and had a bunch of surgeries blah blah blah my dad didn’t know if I’d be able to make friends when I started to grow up so he searched for a best friend he was originally going to get me a pitbull or Rottweiler yk a big dog to protect me on the walks I’d take my best friend on his search didn’t end up well well he got a call from a friend “I got a dog for you for $200” his friend said my dad went to meet him and held coco in his hands and my dad was sold he had never owned a small dog. While I was crawling in my diapers (I was blind until I was one my parents didn’t know) bumping into things coco was right behind me in his diaper following me I had an amazing sixteen years with him but age caught up to my very first best friend I miss him dearly but in his absence I have gixr and gixr is a rescue pit coco acted like a big dog and gixr acts like how coco should’ve acted and loves me very much like coco did one day I will see my best friend and me him and gixr can play catch everyday. I miss you coco thank you for all the memories
