If it’s rechargeable it has a Lithium battery. It shouldn’t be put in a checked bag because of risk of fire.

do they hold the seal for a good amount of time? I find the ones with the plastic port eventually leak and fill back up with air.

If you really want to save space, I’d recommend folding your clothes so they match the width and height of the bag and just stack each item on top of each other then vacuum. That should let you get the bag insanely flat, compared to just regular folding and pushing everything in there!

I don’t recommend these for vacation unless you plan on ironing EVERYTHING. They’re great for moving though
