We tan ours in the wash rack or the sand pit. Minimum of 15 mins to prevent sunburn. We also use lights in the barn

as someone who raised hogs in South Texas, the idea of intentionally putting hogs out in the sun this time of year for "tanning" just freaks me out! obviously, you're in a different place where it's not a hazard to the animal but it made me appreciate that all of our shows are January through March and we raised them in our "coldest" weather lol

Hog father’s secret tanning oil is great to use!! It’s a thicker oil but I’ve seen night and day difference with it
