Don’t need to get a physical suica card you can download it to your phone, you don’t have to wait til you land for e-sim, and you will get a better exchange at a 7-11 ATM.

2. Exchange counters have terrible exchange rates. Use 7 eleven and family mart atms for the best rates.

4. Luggage delivery is unnecessary, save you money. I’ve been to Japan 5 times and have never needed it. Just take it with you, it’s a 45 minute or less train ride.

Just visited Osaka and Kyoto Dec 7-11. eSIM Airalo did not work for my unlock phone. Best way is to rent a WiFi. Get ICOCA card. Limo bus is the best. Cash is golden.
