Here is the thing, brad pitt was giving the best adaptation of the book but jacob made the character better bc he made him more believable, he longed to continue with his business more than lestat in the books did , bc he longed for that old routine, he engaged more with society than lestat, and he isn’t that much of coward in the series like at least have one struggle at the time 😭
