That is the grayest brisket I’ve ever seen. And it has no smoke ring. Honestly how social media has people going WAYYY out of the way to get good food with good hospitality (Good as in being moderately nice). You have to be on top of your food game nowadays!!

I like the ribs and the chili dogs are good. Unfortunately like many restaurants that have mainly older patrons they just like the people that they know more so than strangers (not a good business model). Joy is not a racist though like many have suggested or insinuated in the comments. They do need to revamp in order to stay afloat.

You have got to be kidding me. They are the sweetest people you could ever meet. I find it funny you did not mention that as soon as you walk in the owner hugs everyone and is very family oriented. I personally love the food. They are far from racist if that is what you are implying.

Agreed. I was supremely disappointed when I went. Dry and flavorless. I lived close and I really wanted to like it.
