I was with my abuser for 6 years and also started dancing to try and get away from him. It’s been two years and some change that I’ve been free from him and unfortunately still having to dance to dig myself out of the financial hole he put me in while we were together and even after I left. I had to spend every penny I’d saved from dancing to emergency move because he was stalking and harassing me after I’d finally left. Thank you for sharing your story 🖤 this was my reminder that it WILL all work itself out.
