also, one of the ladies was a lawyer and they did call 911 and my friend called out the ice agents. I was really confused on what was going on. I couldn’t believe it. But none of the other patrons really stepped on other than one guy who chased after all the other guys outside and looked for their car, which they were in a blue work truck

That was me. They were not ICE, they were ABC - a CA agency that has historically not moved this way (they usually go in singles or pairs and target businesses not patrons). Also notable - ABC has a DHS taskforce. Targeting ONLY us at the bar with 7 agents was giving red flag and ICE collaboration. They were suspicious from the beginning, coming up to us with no badge visible and the first thing he asked was our age then to give him our ID before he eventually identified himself + flashed his badge after we were being “difficult” with him. He started to complain that I would impersonate him when I tried to take photos of his badge. We got his name (Ethan Hahn) and the women’s name (Jeanette Gomez 1360) and badge number. We did call 911 (LAPD came 2 hrs later 🙄). We did get photos and videos of them and their vehicles. We did file a complaint to ABC and we did immediately alert grassroots groups in NELA to keep any eye out for ABC asking for peoples docs. When ICE is failing to meet their quotas because people know their rights and are not showing their ID, ABC agents starting to show up on the ground in a way they have never before to try to get that exact information (and catch ppl off guard while they’re vibing with their family and friends, going on dates) is suspicious. Especially ahead of major holidays. For those asking, we were definitely shaken, but relatively fine. Ironically for them,I’m an immigrant rights organizer and my friend is an attorney lol Plz keep staying safe. Plz keep taking care of each other.

None of this is legal. Impersonation of Alcohol board, Amazon workers, streetlight workers & even church leaders. I know this will come to an end one day and every single one is held accountable.

Human traffickers are gonna take advantage of this momentum and start picking up kids and women without anyone doing anything... because it's being normalized now... lot of videos of people just sitting there not reacting at all to non uniformed unmarked cars

Did they say they were ICE? It looks like they identified themselves as ABC agents. ABC and ICE are completely different agencies and enforce completely different laws. Confusing for everyone involved, surely. :(

The thing that sucks is, I’m pretty sure the restaurants just think these people are normal customers. I don’t think they think they are ice agents until they start causing problems.
