This movie is such a metaphor for being lgbtq in a conservative family/ being forced to hide it. rumi being a demon and being forced to hide her patterns is such a metaphor for homosexuality like what Celine said it hits too close to home. “everything I was taught told me u were wrong” and how she says she accepts her for it but makes her hide it and cover it up until she could “fix” her. PLUS the rainbows at the end
