but isn’t the “i fear rejection so i will have an a.i girlfriend” literally… having a woman that can’t say no. regardless of whether it’s relatively innocent like the example i gave above, or more sinister . it’s all about consent . the a.i girlfriend can’t reject you, yes, but she’s also not consenting to you. because she can’t, because she’s not real, and that’s what they like. if that wasn’t true, they’d find a human woman. and before anyone says “most of these men can’t find women that are attracted to them”. most of the time they can, they’re just not attracted to the type of girls that want them.

I don’t think that what Zackerys saying is strange or “a reach”. Because a lot of guys realistically would be wanting an ai girlfriend for the porpuse of someone/something that would do whatever they say (not all men but I belive a majority, or the majority of people who “want” an ai girlfriend ). And if they didn’t want the ai to do wtv they say, they would have to program the ai to make decisions on its own, and that is something that I personally belive should not happen. because of the reprocusion of ai has already had an effect on the thinking process of young adults and children. Ai is not something we should be supporting and an ai partner is an extension and romanticization of the relationship ai can possibly create (which is unhealthy, therapy can help with social awkwardness). Ok that’s it
