You have to do that with new one already solved 4 times then tell person to do it 8 time and it works but it can’t be mixed up anyway you want. NEW CUBE, do that move 4 times then tell someone this then do it 8 more times

I was proud of myself when I finally solved my 3x3 because it literally took me 50 attempts because I would always get all but two squares in place and then f it all up.

For anyone thinks that this will actually work you’re welcome to try but it won’t work. The only way for this to work is if he has set the cube in a specific way to make this work. If you were to repeat any algorithm over and over again then eventually the algorithm will position the pieces in the order in which you started the algorithm. So in other words if I used one set of moves on a completed cube as long as I continue those same set of moves it will eventually position the pieces correctly. But if I were to do this on a scrambled cube it would only reposition the pieces in the place where I started.
