Honestly, I kinda want this to play out. I’m a libertarian and will never live in nyc lol so no skin in the game. Heavily tax the rich, do 100% free healthcare, free childcare, his housing plan, his local grocery plan, etc. Kind of like a sink or swim situation. Then if it works liberals have something to go off of. If it doesn’t.. well. Idk. I’ve lived in two countries with heavy social programs now (Germany and Korea) and both have their pros and cons. So would be interesting to see it play out IMO.
