Broadway loves to be inclusive to body types and gender but is still outshined by centuries old operas who frequently cast conventionally unattractive body types and faces for lead roles and frequently gender bends roles based on voice type and not appearances… whhaaat who said that

They put one plus size woman in the ensemble, usually don’t put her in the same costume as the other women, a d they CALL IT A DAY. Plus size ppl can be any character but god forbid there be a fat love interest
