The Costco of restaurants is the Costco business center and you need to have a Costco member to shop there.

Do you mean people actually believe that these restaurants make all these cakes and pies?

It’s not cheating but it gets to a certain point where the bulk of the menu is these pre frozen food that I don’t consider it cooking anymore, it’s just re-heating and I generally don’t like these places

When I see restaurants that go to restaurant depot it automatically tells me the food will not be good and walk away as fast as you can

I don't think its even a dirty little secret anymore you can literally tell Olive Garden/Red lobster and more literally tasts like warmed up frozen food. Stick with small local family owned restaurants if you can find them anymore.

Hi! I’ve been here and you don’t need a membership. You can show your drivers license and shop.

Individuals can get a day pass and you can get a membership if you have an EIN from the IRS. Doesn't have to be a food business.

I have a restaurant depot within walking distance of my company. I would shop there under my wife’s business license that incorporates catering one thing if you don’t shop there almost on a biweekly basis your membership gets revoked.

Restaurants have been buying food like that from distributors such as US foods or Sysco foods for years. Premade food is nothing new via Restaurant Depot.

As long as you’re not advertising it as “made in house” I don’t mind it. It’s when you cross the threshold of trying to pass it off as “homemade” is when it gets to be an issue

Most restaurants today don’t have a chef at all. Only cooks to assemble the food. Plus they can’t do that consistently or correctly

PSA that is not true you do not need any sort of membership. You can get a free one for the day and you do not have to be a owner of anything to buy food
