@thatdetroitandy: Backstory: @Andy Didorosi - Bronco Rescue Mission Day One Update - Wooey it’s a hot one. At the self storage place we pieced together the missing bits the thieves stole and got the truck running in a surprisingly good amount of time despite the 1984 emissions spaghet. Once we hit the road we found out we had a diabolical exhaust leak pumping into the cabin and opted to have a shop handle it instead of, you know, dying. Exhaust leaks are no fun and no joke. Some great folks at a local muffler shop helped us get a tailpipe on it, some welds on the cherry bomb, and we’re off. The next issue was the unbelievable heat. I’ve never appreciated shade so much in my life. We found the heat was stuck on, fixed that, fixed the back window, and allowed the world to become night so we’re feeling better. We got to the Mark Twain forest, set up camp, did a tuneup in the morning, and we’re rolling again. Next stop: Some state park in Illinois. Keep it moving. #tiktokautocampaign #carrestoration
