@stonehouseatsilvercreek: In the wedding world, you will find different vendors using the same terms for a wide range of services. SOME may say coordination is mostly a “day of” job. Others may begin services a month or more out. At the Stone House at Silver Creek, coordination conversations with nearly weds begin 120 days out from wedding day. We then spend several months getting to know you and your fiance, what your priorities are, your vision, your boundaries, your “what would I do in these random situations”, etc. so that on wedding day, you truly can just DO YOU. Relax. And be present with your person. You may hear rumors that coordination isn’t a service you can truly get IN-HOUSE at a wedding venue and that you should hire an additional coordinator or planner on top of what’s included in your wedding venue’s packages. We’d tell you that (at least at our venue) that’s a BIG OLE LIE. From management of high level details/timing and getting you through your wedding ceremony to helping with bustles/boutonnieres, making sure you’re signature drinks are ready to go and waiting for you at your table, arranging transport to and from your ceremony/reception, and/or always having anything you could possibly need on hand and ready to go in our Mary Poppins bag… Our goal is to truly offer a seamless wedding day experience. We are both behind the scenes and client facing humans. We will set up your furniture/decor AND make besties with your entire wedding party. We will hold umbrellas up to keep you dry AND make sure the DJ knows how to announce your grand entrance.
