We lost our 3 year old lab to Lymphoma in December. Sending love your way. Sadly we saw a change within 2 days in her walking, and a week between her looking completely fine to passing away. I hope you get better news on Monday.

I’m so sorry. As someone who had to make the painful decision to send my dog over the rainbow bridge on 1/11/25, before she started to suffer from bladder cancer, I understand. Prayers for your sweet Luna and hugs to you too. 🙏🏻❤️🥺🐾

We lost our sweet aussie to lymphoma back in December. After several vet visits over the course of 2 weeks, we finally got the diagnosis of lymphoma. Within 24 hours of that, she no longer had the use of her back legs and was in very obvious distress. Vet oncologist could not get her in for a few days, and we made the difficult decision to stop her suffering. She went from somewhat playing the night before (she had not had much energy), to wobbly that morning and unable to turn around, to no use of her back legs within a couple of hours. Vet suspected it had spread to her spine already but we did not run any additional tests to confirm at that point. Sending hugs and prayers.

Our lovely lab willow seen an oncologists yesterday for probable lymphoma started on 25 mg prednisone and she is back walking and eating - not having chemo quality of life decision.

I’m so sorry. We went through this with our Cairo this past April. He had a 14 month lymphoma journey. In the last week for him, one back leg went out, then the other and then one of his front legs started doing it too. We at first thought he might have just hurt one leg or results from months of being on predisone, but after it happened to the second leg, we knew it was something more. Both our vet and the vet from Lap of Love said the lymphoma had likely spread into the nervous system at that point. I’m sorry you’re dealing with it too, it’s so painful to see it happening and feel like you can’t do anything to help. I’m going to wish all the best for your pup and your family ❤️

I hate this for baby and you. We had this progressive deterioration of our boy and had to purchase a walkabout dog sling. In mornings it took a bit to get him on his feet.

I remember one form of chemo made my pup super weak like this. It passed around day 3 and he got his strength back. A close friend is going through chemo for non Hodgkins lymphoma and she said the bone pain it causes is unbearable. Her oncologist recommended taking Zyrtec (the allergy medicine) for a couple days before and during chemo treatment and it helps with the pain. She said it really helps...sounds weird, I know.

Poor baby:( Has she been tested for Leptospirosis and tick borne illnesses? I've seen several videos lately of pups with Lepto. I don't remember hearing that before.
