You can clearly scoot up some. You can see their back tires from closer to

I do that too because you never know if those people may jump out their car and do something. you’ll have enough room to escape.

Leaving too much space is more the norm around here, drives me nuts when everyone is so far apart at a left turn signal that only a few people can get through it

You only need enough space to be able to move or turn from behind someone 6’is enough distance a whole car or more is ridiculous

It yo too far, in busy cities when many cars are turning u find those behind u are restricted in the next lane that going straight.however its good but may work well in places wiz few traffic.

Also make sure you have room to get out of there if someone tries to approach/jack your car

Except the green arrow with this much space between cars only lets three or four cars tops through the light. Pull forward. Fit more cars.

I learned that the hard way. A van rolled back into me and I couldn’t back up bc the person behind me was too close!😡

Whoever thought of the Brain Date concept, give them a raise. Thank you so much to the Brain Date team at CultureCon (@CultureCon )for allowing me to take up space. This was my favorite part of culture con There were SO many Brain Date topics I wanted to attend, but they filled up FAST. I was only able to schedule one in advance, but I did not let a fully booked session keep me from trying to get into the ones I really wanted. So what did I do? I showed up. While everybody was chasing the celebrity panels, I was chasing KNOWLEDGE. And no shade to the panels. I wanted to hear those speakers too. But I knew I would get so much value from intimate conversations where I could ask questions, pick someone’s brain, have real conversations, and leave with knowledge I could actually use. And guess what? I ended up attending FIVE Brain Dates this weekend. Shoutout to my five Brain Date hosts, Cami, Aris, Sebastian, Tony, and Tiffany, for sharing your knowledge, your expertise, dropping some serious gems, and making sure we could stay connected even after our Brain Date sessions were over. And that connection is exactly why I am so glad I kept showing up. The last clip is me reaching out to Sebastian, and look what that gotten a follow up conversation for this Thursday. I was not just looking for access to a session. I was looking for knowledge, relationships, and opportunities that could continue beyond the event. Sometimes the door looks closed. Knock anyway. @Imani Ellis #CultureCon #NYCCreatives #MicroInfluencer #NetworkingTips #CareerGrowth
