Disaster yes. Mushroom cloud, no. Outside explosion will not trigger the nuclear reaction. If that could happen, the Manhattan Project never would have happened. We would have simply blown up the atomic material. This isnt actually a thing. I’m not trying to be rude or disrespectful. Aiming for neutral, apolitical, and factual to protect myself.
