@leahhopehealth: I’m two days post op from my brachioplasty, forearmplasty and lipedema liposuction in my calves and ankles. The first couple of days after surgery are always the hardest. They’re the most painful, the most uncomfortable and the most difficult mentally and emotionally. But I’ve been through this twice before so I have an understanding of this for my third surgery. I know the first few days will feel incredibly challenging. They might even make me question why I chose to do this. But it has never been bad enough for me to regret my choice to have these surgeries. I’ve always felt confident in that choice, no matter how hard the first few days are. The results and gained quality of life that I receive from these surgeries are worth every bit of discomfort. I just continue to remind myself what I’m capable of. I’ve done this twice before and I can do it again. I’m strong. I’m resilient.
