@cbsnews: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine has given the first details of “Operation Midnight Hammer,” the mission to carry out a trio of U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Caine said it was a “highly classified mission with very few people in Washington knowing the details of the plan.” More than 125 U.S. aircraft participated in the mission, including B-2 stealth bombers. Caine also said it will take "some time" to determine the impact of the strikes, but added that the initial "battle damage assessments" indicate that all three sites "sustained extremely severe damage and destruction."  #news #iran #trump #military #nuclear #pentagon
