we just took a vacation here, it’s an awesome place to visit but not camp, flies are awful and horses get into everything. it was an awesome experience though!

just a warning to everyone: there's a reason the local shops sell souvenirs that say "I survived Assateague island" I've been going there since I was born. The bugs are NO joke. Everything on that island bites ☠️

You could also go to corola in North Carolina! It’s in the outer banks and it’s really nice. They also have have a natural beach with horses on it, it’s really fun!!!
