I completely get why she didn’t tell her husband. Especially if he’s known to be anxious. Adding extra stress on top of the wedding makes no sense fr. He’s not mad so why should we be? If it was something serious? Absolutely but she didn’t tell him for his benefit and used the money for part of their wedding 🤷🏽♀️period

YTA mostly because you should never make your guests pay for anything at your wedding. That's just tacky. Also starting your marriage with a lie is really bad, and this seems manipulative, even if the OP claims the intentions were pure. Her husband is an adult and supposedly her equal in the marriage and she ahould treat him as such.
