no kitchen is throwing me off. is this normal in japan? where do people who live here eat everyday? i knew no baths were common bc japan has bathhouses but no kitchen is surprising

I used to live in a pretty similar apartment in Nagoya and I loved the small space, I miss it quite a lot. Even when its small it feels pretty spacious, the only downside is that you need to go to a coin laundry every week but other than that I loved it.

200$ is crazy cheap ! But I wouldn’t call that an “apartment”.. that’s a prison cell. Yet again people are renting “apartments” of that size, in NY for 3000$.. so what do I know..
