change gear , 9/76 puts you in power band faster, give the clutch a break..

Oh lord, didn’t even get into the power band. You just got into it when you hear the change in pitch of the motor, it is “on the pipe” when that happens and the tuning hits and will pull harder.

Sounds like the power band was just kicking in at 50mph when you were just letting off.
