My therapist asked why it’s a bad thing that I function like this? And I can accept that it is fine mostly, but society isn’t set up for people to function like this. The corporate world especially

Middle managers typically don’t like that 🫠 unless corporate culture suddenly decides to be goal-focused instead of time-focused, ima struggle to fit in this goddamn machine

See I’m cool with this in myself except that it’s nearly impossible to predict WHEN a productive high energy work day will happen so I can’t even really plan around it 😭 like idk if today is “I cleaned the entire house in 4 hours” or if that’ll come in a month and a half and in the meantime I’m trying to stave off biohazards in the sink begrudgingly

We are sprinters, not marathon runners! Big burst of energy, then a long break. We’ll cover the same distance but not at the same pace.

I like the idea of some days focusing on doing the bare minimum rather than always being productive

Yes, I have accepted this about myself. I have extremely productive times and then I have times where I do nothing but breathing, and I just wait for the next wave instead of punishing myself for not being the same every day.
