I see his point some of the open world stuff and side quests were mindless but I still enjoyed my playthrough regardless. Honestly everytime there was more queens blood stuff I forgot all about that stuff and b lined for now QB matches lol.

Interestingly, the towers don’t defog anything, they just mark points of interest. You don’t even need to hit towers to find any of it

All the “problems” he has are exactly why I love the game. Put over 200 hrs into and got all the trophies. To each their own

I have never once in my life been able to do all side quests in an open world game due to finding it boring. Rebirth is the exception. Some of the most fulfilling side quests and while I haven’t perfected every mini game the side quests were amazing and I happily did them all.

FF7 and FF7 Remake are two of my favorite games of all time, but Rebirth has too many to-do lists in every new area. I lost energy and interest by Cosmo Canyon. I'll finish it before the 3rd game comes out.

his points are very fair. many of the sidequests are just fetch quests or go kill this thing here. not that engaging. but I did like the narritive these quests offered. seeing our cast interact a little bit more with each other and interacting with the world they are in. they aren't ground breaking but just some extra flavor.
