Iran should lick the wound for now. Weak position means you can't be too proud. Don't escalate but don't enter in kind of negotiations either. Purge all the spies within the country as possible. Try to see if China will supply defensive weapons. Russia is very unreliable and don't have the industrial capacity. Then you can think of getting out if NPT.
