My question is, did they ever clean the room if that was in the closet that means that they never cleaned the room at all that means you’re sleeping on dirty sheets and it’s a big no-no in the hospitality world

As a hotel manager (15years ) immediately leave the room if this happens. Also to answer your question the top blanket/sheet should be washed with EVERY guest.

used to be a housekeeper in fanny condos, fancy hotels, and not so fancy motels.... the bedspreads only get cleaned if there's an obvious BIG stain

As a former hotel maid that room was either not cleaned or double checked for cleaning which is so hard to not do, orrr that hotel itself is freaky as hell I promise there’s no reason that should be there😂😂😂

I mean to be fair, when I started working for a hotel, being new, I forgot some things like looking in the closet or checking the microwave. It could just be new staff figuring it out yk.
