Last summer a mom nursing her 6 month old baby at our local pool was told to either leave the pool premises or feed her baby in the bathroom. She made a fb post and then in exchange all bf moms in our area showed up at the pool and nursed their babies all at once 😁

It’s legal to bf anywhere in the US. Inside, outside, in a diner, or at the pool. When the baby is hungry - feed them. Let others be mad. 🤷🏻♀️

As a lifeguard…bm is not considered a biohazard and legally you have every right to feed that baby poolside. Even in the pool if that’s what you choose. As a mama…I support this message even further ❤️

breastmilk is not considered a biohazard by the law, and cdc. i’m trained in food safety and have been in various inspections. it is not a biohazard. because of all its antibiotic properties law wise it is not. if someone tells you that they are ill-informed and trying to spread false information.

In Australia it’s a legal right to breastfeed anywhere. You do not need to cover up. I’ve fed in restaurants, public pool, shops, mechanics, friends houses. I honestly do not care. I’ve been waiting 12 months for someone to come up to me and say something just so I can have a go at them 😂

It is a legal right to breastfeed your child. No one and No where can tell you otherwise. You can flat tell a business to call the cops and let them settle the matter because the cops will tell the business that they have to let you do it.

Feed your babies and call me up if someone has a problem, I’ll clear it up real quick! My sister got shamed and so many glares for trying to breastfeed, she ended up getting so paranoid that she stopped producing
