I call it “walking through the ankle.” While dancers call it a bevel. ✨Instead of flexing the foot or overemphasizing heel-toe, I lead with a pointed ankle. It’s not about exaggeration ,it’s about intention. ✨This method helps me: 👣 Stay elongated 👠 Glide with control 🩰 Maintain a sleek, stylized silhouette ✨I was originally taught toe-heel (yep, not the standard), and while I teach heel-toe now, I still emphasize a pointed foot over a flexed one. Flexing shortens the leg line and in runway, length is everything. Think of it like a dancer’s bevel ,but grounded, centered, and aligned with forward movement. ✨It’s not the only way but it’s my way. Style is personal.
