A lot of the 90s classic movie Hocus Pocus was filmed right in Salem and here are some must see filming locations: Max & Dani's House •Ocean Avenue, Salem, MA • Scene: Max and Dani's home, where the Sanderson sisters show up in the middle of the night. •This is a private residence, please be respectful and admire from the street. DO NOT WALK UP TO THE DOOR! During peak season, the road will be closed to cars so you will have park and walk! The Ropes Mansion (Allison's House) •318 Essex Street, Salem, MA •Scene: The fancy Halloween party at Allison's house. •It's part of the Peabody Essex Museum and has a beautiful public garden in the back. Old Salem Pioneer Village •98 West Ave, Salem, MA •Scene: The 1600s village where Thackery Binx lives. •It's often open seasonally for tours and events. Be sure to check hours before visiting because they are closed on certain days of the week! Phillips Elementary School •56 South Washington Square, Salem, MA • Scene: The school where the kids trap the Sanderson sisters. •Closed as a school, but the exterior is intact for photos. Town Hall (Sanderson Sisters' "| Put a Spell on You" scene) •32 Derby Square, Salem, MA •Scene: The iconic Halloween party. • A beautiful spot that you can walk around and snap pics! I highly recommend booking a walking tour in Salem.
