death note messes with your head so much. I’m not saying it in a negative way but in a ‘I wish I could watch it for the first time all over again’ way. Lights mentality after he realises what he can do with the notebook really messes with your head, you don’t know if you should be on lights side until he loses control. It really changes your mindset in ways you don’t even notice until you finish the show. When you finish it you feel so empty- like “what do I do now?” It’s so changing in a psychological way it just hits different the first time you watch it. I wish someone would wipe my memory of this show so I could rewatch it.
