His mother traveled from home to assist with his uniform and to ensure his smooth transition into the school environment. . Having previously attended a preparatory school in Berkshire since 1961, where he was known as “Toks,” he approached his new chapter with anticipation. Although initially unfamiliar with the traditional uniform, he adapted promptly. . During an interview at the London residence of Western Nigeria’s Agent-General, where he was staying, Tokunbo expressed enthusiasm for English studies, cricket, and athletics, confidently noting his speed on the track.
